Platelet Rich Plasma- PRP
REVIVE and thrive at our reputable BRISBANE PRP clinic
What is platelet rich plamsa?
PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) is an excellent anti-ageing treatment that jumpstarts the body’s own healing response - your own body can provide the fix you need for beautiful fresh skin. Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections are gaining popularity for a variety of conditions, from cosmetic issues, sports injuries to hair loss. PRP is a popular treatment to treat the face, neck, décolletage, back of hands, as well as stretch marks. PRP injections are also an effective cure for hair loss and encourage hair growth by stimulating the follicles.
PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) is a highly effective treatment in helping you erase the signs of ageing. PRP makes use of the patient’s own blood, where platelets can help you undergo a skin revival with results that could not be achieved with surgery.
PRP therapy has proven to be a natural alternative to improve aged and wrinkled skin using your own blood, returning youthfulness to the face and body. Skin texture, colour and tone can all be improved, and volume can be regained so that you are ready to show the world a whole new you.
What are the different options Sonder Private Clinic offers to deliver PRP to patients?.
At Sonder Private Clinic we use 3 different ways that PRP can be given to a patient:
PRP Injected - Can be administered on their own or combined with mono threads for a PRP injections treatment. When your own blood platelets are administered, it creates new cell growth, which helps to improve your skin texture, complexion, and to restore lost facial volume..
PRP Facial - Is done in conjunction with microneedling in a procedure that’s known as a PRP facial, where the plasma is spread on your face, followed by microneedling. This PRP Facial combines Platelet Rich Plasma with Microneedling to generate collagen growth. A vampire facial can be useful for those who have scars, wrinkles or sun damage
PRP For Hair Loss - Is a nonsurgical hair-loss treatment during which platelets extracted from your own blood are injected into areas of your scalp, to restore thinning hair. The procedure works through injections of blood with a particularly high concentration of plasma, injected directly into the patient’s hair follicles. Studies have found PRP treatment for hair loss to be effective in helping to prevent more hair loss, thicken hair, and promote minor hair rejuvenation.
Candidates for this treatment may include people with:
Genetic hair loss
Androgenetic alopecia
Stress-related hair loss
Sonder Private Clinic is a reputable PRP clinic. We specialise in PRP and believe that combining this treatment with our other clinic treatments, including Anti-Wrinkle Injections, Dermal Fillers, Chemical Peels, and more, we can obtain long lasting, effective results.

HOW DOES PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) treatment work?
Platelet Rich Plasma procedure involves drawing blood from the patient, spinning it in a centrifuge to separate out the platelets, then reinjecting or dermal needling the concentrated platelets into the problem area. Platelets are the cells that release ‘growth factors’ – regenerative and healing substances that contribute to younger-looking skin. PRP injections are prepared by taking anywhere from one to a few tubes of your own blood and running it through a centrifuge to concentrate the platelets.
The first part of PRP treatment is similar to a blood test. Our specialists will simply draw blood – usually not more than 30ml, though the exact amount needed will depend on the area being treated. Combined with the time the blood spends in the centrifuge and then the careful reinjection, the whole process will take about 60-90 minutes. After the PRP procedure, there may be some bruising, but this should subside over a week or two.
How does a PRP Hair Regrowth Treatment Work? PRP for hair loss is a three-step treatment in which a person's blood is drawn, processed, and then injected into the scalp. After spinning the blood, the plasma serum is injected into areas of the scalp where the person is experiencing hair loss to stimulate growth by providing increased nutrients. This endorses hair growth.
